Winter Weather Detours

Due to winter weather conditions, EMBARK is preparing to ensure our passengers and employees stay safe. EMBARK is implementing detours and stop closures to ensure safer transit travel. Operations teams are prepared for any ice accumulation, bus and streetcar platforms, parking garages and walkways will be treated, and EMBARK vehicles will be weatherized.

Winter Weather Detours occur when it is unsafe for transit vehicles to follow their regular routes.

OKC has two levels of predetermined detours: Level 1 and Level 2 Winter Weather Detours.
Norman also has standard Winter Weather Detours
Additional stops may be closed depending on weather conditions, view the list of active detours and service alerts here.

Information on closures of EMBARK’s senior transportation programs will be available by 6:30 a.m. at 405-297-2583. Participants of other EMBARK Mobility Management Programs should contact their assigned Mobility Coordinator directly to discuss closures and cancellations.
